DR. PAMELA WOLFBERG DR. PAMELA WOLFBERG, PH.D., is Associate Professor and Director of the Autism Spectrum program at San Francisco State University . She received her doctorate from the University of California , Berkeley . As originator of the Integrated Play Groups (IPG) model, she founded the Autism Institute on Peer Relations and Play. Her research and practice center on peer relations, play and imagination, and childhood culture as related to the social inclusion of children on the autism spectrum. She has published extensively on these topics and serves as associate editor for Autism: International Journal of Research and Practice. She is principal investigator on major research and training grants, including from Autism Speaks and the U.S. Department of Education.
