Statement of Need

Although there are autism centers and organizations in the Philippines organized by parents and professionals, the services provided and the needed support are not found in one place. More importantly, The Philippine Government has yet to establish a strong program in support of our autism community.

There is an urgent need for in depth autism awareness in our community where highly knowledgeable and skilled professionals develop current scientific research and empirically based treatments and services in support of individuals with autism.

Support of the families and of the institutions that are attempting to understand, prevent and treat autism is urgently needed.
